The Bose mie2i Mobile Headset Review
For our first review in this section of Best In Ear Headphones we will be looking at the Bose MIE2I Mobile Headset. Bose are one of my favourite manufacturers of headphones, I have had the pleasure of trying a few different types, whether they be my own purchase or even a go of a friends pair.
Currently on sale at $116.95 (usually $129.95) they are at a brillaint price, especially comparing with the over ear headphones which are far more expensive, but just because these are much cheaper does it mean that they are any good? Keep reading and we’ll find out!
Music sounds so much smoother and natural, with its enhanced acoustic design, which comes with an impressive low note performance. Making those hands-free calls even easier to listen and speak to, you also have your called recived in stereo to also help make them sound clearer.
The noise Isolation of the Bose mie2i mobile headset is good, but may be a tad overated. But with the clarity of sound that is delivered with these headphones then its just a minor inconvienince that you can hear chatter, you will still be able to focus well on the music playing.
The comfort with these Bose headphones are great! They will sit lightly in your ear making you believe that they may fall out at any second as they are not embedded in your ear canal. But don’t let this fool you, they don’t move at all. These have the ability to last in your ears for hours at a time. Great for travelling around the world. This also makes them great for workouts, especially as these can last into the hours.
The tips that are used with these earphones are StayHear silicone tips, which offer this ability to stay perfectly in your ear, whether you are walking, jogging, or taking part in any active sport. They comfortably rest in the bowl of your ear instead of the canals, to rest perfectly in your ears. They are fixed well onto the headset itself, helping with those hands free calls and workouts. Coming with three different sized tips, you are bound to find one that first your ears perfectly.

Lastly these headphones also make a great hands-free calling accessory. You get an integrated remote which works well with Apple products and voice applications such as VoiceOver and Voice Control. With an omnidirectional mic there will be no need to hold it closer to your lips as it will pick up your voice cleary.
Claimed to have advanced materials with constructing and manufacturing techniques to help them last longer. Bose also say that they put these headphones through rigorous teasting to make sure they meet the Bose standards of durability. I do believe them on this as well as they are very sturdy headphones. The cable is also nice and thick and doesn’t seem to tangle unlike a lot of the other headphones our there.
With these headphones you will get a carrying case and also 2 pairs of the S, M, L ear tips. Great for if you loose them…. Like me.

One little minor factor about these headphones is that they do look quite ugly. Although when choosing a good quality pair of headphones then this is not that big a deal and should be over looked. As I say, your purchase should never be based on Aesthetics, as this is only a minor inconvenience.
